Rush-hour crash slows morning traffic in downtown Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City responded to a collision during Wednesday morning’s rush hour that slowed traffic for many commuters into downtown.
According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the incident occurred at the intersection of NW 17th Street and N Western Avenue, near the Homeland Pharmacy, shortly before 9:30 a.m.
Authorities have not reported any injuries as a result of the crash. However, the intersection was shut down for some time, causing rush-hour delays for motorists in Downtown Oklahoma City. The road has since been reopened.
