A man from Sapulpa died Friday in an Oklahoma car accident.

According to officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 45 year-old Gar Frazier Jr. was traveling east on Oklahoma 66 shortly after 2:00 p.m. when his 1999 Dodge pickup ran off the right side of the roadway and entered a ditch. The vehicle then crossed over Oklahoma 48, and came to rest in a creek.

Medics transported Frazier to a Bristow hospital following the accident, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Troopers say Frazier was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and did not have any passengers in the vehicle.
