Semi-truck catches fire after highway collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Firefighters in Oklahoma City have responded to a tractor-trailer collision and subsequent fire on Interstate 44 Monday evening.

According to News 9, the crash occurred along I-44 near the exit to the Northwest Expressway at around 5:00 p.m. Further details remain unclear at this time.

Officials have not reported any injuries resulting from the collision or fire as of Monday night. We will continue to monitor this ongoing story for updates as they are made available by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
