Man dies in car crash that injures state senator

OKLAHOMA, OK – One person died Friday morning in a car crash which also injured State Senator Allison Ikley-Freeman, according to News9.
Ikley-Freeman was returning to Oklahoma City for a legislative session when she and Enrique Lopez collided on the Turner Turnpike near the Bristow exit.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that one of the vehicles likely hydroplaned, causing the accident.
Ikley-Freeman is being hospitalized for unknown injuries.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
