Shawn Pritchard, 45, killed in Nacogdoches motorcycle crash

NACOGDOCHES, TX – A 45-year-old motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries last Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on the southeast side of Nacogdoches, reports KETK News.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast Stallings Drive and Center Highway, which is just east of the Orton Hill area.
Police say that a northbound motorcycle crashed into a southbound SUV when the driver of the SUV made a left turn on Center Road. The impact ejected the motorcyclist. It’s unclear if he was wearing a safety helmet at the time of the wreck.
The motorcycle operator, identified as 45-year-old Shawn Pritchard, died after transport to an area hospital.
The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries. It’s unclear if he required hospitalization.
No charges have been announced thus far.
