Single-vehicle crash near Bethel Acres kills Davis man

POTTAWATOMIE CO., OK – A man died over the Labor Day weekend in a single-vehicle crash along a major roadway in northwest Pottawatomie County, reports KTEN 10.
The accident happened Sunday just after 6 a.m. on Bethel Road near Hardesty Road, which is just southeast of Bethel Acres and about 35 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a driver lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree.
The 19-year-old driver died at the scene. Authorities identified him as Paden Joe Thomas.
There’s no word yet regarding Thomas’s condition at the time of the accident.
