Single-vehicle crash on CR 153 near Blair kills unrestrained driver

JACKSON CO., OK – A single-vehicle accident along a rural roadway in northeast Jackson County killed a 46-year-old man on Monday, reports Texoma’s homepage.com.

The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. on County Road 153 just east of County Street 208, which is southwest of Old Mountain Farms on the northeastern outskirts of Blair.

Police haven’t yet shared the cause of the collision. They say that the unrestrained driver of a Ford F150 died at the scene after he was thrown from his pickup truck during a crash.

Authorities identified the victim as Jake H. Holsey of Blair.

A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
