Single-vehicle crash on I-35 in Thackerville kills 24-year-old man

THACKERVILLE, OK – A 24-year-old man from Gainesville died Monday in a single-vehicle accident along the interstate in southeast Love County, reports KXII 12.

The wreck occurred after 10 p.m. along I-35 on the south side of Thackerville. This is just north of the Texas and Oklahoma state line.

Police say that wet road conditions caused the driver of a northbound vehicle carrying three people to lose control, at which point the car left the interstate and crashed into an embankment.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Spencer Kleeman, died after transport to an area hospital.

The driver and second passenger were not hurt in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
