Single-vehicle crash with ejection on E 171st St kills 1, injures 3

BIXBY, TX – A female high school student died on Thursday after a single-vehicle collision along a busy roadway in southeast Tulsa County, reports KTUL News 8.
The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. in the area of 8800 East 171st Street South, which is on the south side of Bixby, just east of the split with US-64.
Police say the victim was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed and overturned, ejecting and killing her.
Medics transported an adult and two other minors to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Elliott Binney, fled the scene of the accident. Police found and arrested Binney on multiple counts, including first-degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident, and passing illegally.
