Solo crash on CR 1290 near Pocasset kills child, injures 3 others

GRADY CO., OK – A solo crash along a roadway in northwestern Grady County killed a 7-year-old girl and injured two other children on Monday, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1290 and County Street 2780, which is west of both Pocasset and Chickasha.
Police haven’t yet specified what caused the 023 GMC Terrain to crash. They say the young girl died after transport to a local hospital.
Three other people, including the driver, a 5-year-old, and a 10-year-old were hospitalized. The adult driver was admitted in critical condition while the two children sustained non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
