Solo crash on I-244 near Greenwood kills Broken Arrow motorcyclist

TULSA, OK – A 23-year-old man died early Friday in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash along the interstate in northeast Tulsa, reports News 9. 

The accident happened around 2 a.m. on I-244 near North Greenwood Avenue, which is just south of Oklahoma State University and west of US-75.

There’s no word yet on what caused the motorcycle operator to crash.

Medics transported the victim, identified as Matthew Brehm of Broken Arrow, to the hospital where he later died.

Motorists likely experienced delays along the interstate while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
