Solo crash on OK-74 near 100th St kills 1, injures 1

MCCLAIN CO., OK – A 65-year-old man died last Thursday in a single-vehicle crash along the highway in south-central McClain County, reports OKC Fox 25.
The accident happened shortly before 2 a.m. on OK-74 just north of 100th Street. This is just southwest of Wayne and north of Maysville.
Police say that a southbound driver was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed along the highway. The collision caused the vehicle to overturn multiple times, killing the driver at the scene.
Authorities identified the deceased as Ronnie Terry. They say Terry may have been fighting fatigue when the accident occurred.
Medics treated a passenger of the vehicle, identified as Clayton Powell, for non-critical injuries. It’s unclear if Powell required hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
