Solo crash on Overholser Rd at County Line kills 1, hurts 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 17-year-old male died on Monday after the car he was driving crashed near Lake Overholser.

According to News 9, the incident happened at night in the area of South Overholser Road and County Line Road, which is near Lake Overholser Park.

The cause of the crash is still under review, but police say the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle while turning.

A passenger in the vehicle went to the hospital with serious injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
