Solo motorcycle crash on I-244 ramp to US-75 NB kills man

TULSA, OK – A 69-year-old man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a solo motorcycle crash along the interstate in Tulsa, reports KTUL 8.

The incident happened late at night on the ramp from I-244 to US-75 northbound. This is just south of the USA BMX HQ and Hall of Fame.

It’s not yet clear what caused the biker’s 1990 Harley Davidson to crash, but police say the motorcycle operator died at the scene of the accident.

Authorities identified the victim as Gerald Simpson.

A full investigation is underway.
