South Oklahoma City crash causes injury on I-44

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency services in Oklahoma City have reported injuries as the result of a rush-hour collision along Interstate 44 Wednesday night.

The crash happened on I-44 northbound near Southwest 89th Street shortly after 6:00 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

Details regarding how many vehicles were involved in the wreck and the extent of injuries sustained as a result have not been released. Officials are advising motorists to avoid the portion of I-44 near 89th St. throughout Wednesday night as delays are likely.
