Suspect sought in hit-and-run collision on outskirts of Shawnee

SHAWNEE, OK – Local police are actively working to find a suspect involved in a hit-and-run collision that happened on the outskirts of Shawnee last Friday, Oct. 17.

Police were dispatched to the intersection of West 45th Street and Hardesty Drive and arrived at the scene before 8:30 p.m, OKCFOX25 said. Officers said they believe the suspect was driving a white 2014 – 2022 Jeep Cherokee.

Police said the vehicle has significant damage to the front passenger-side bumper, fog lamp, headlight, and inner fender liner.

Police have not specified the events leading to the crash or reported any injuries at this time.

A full investigation is underway.
