SUV crashes into Owasso eatery on 86th St N, injuring 1

OWASSO, OK – At least one person sustained injuries Tuesday when a vehicle crashed into a pizza restaurant in northeast Owasso, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident occurred sometime in the evening at Mazzio’s Pizza and Wings, which is located at 12701 East 86th Street North. This is just north of Owasso Drug and west of Mary Glass Performing Arts Center.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a red SUV backed through the facade of the pizzeria, hitting an employee.
The employee sustained injuries of unknown severity; police haven’t commented on whether the victim required hospitalization.
It’s unclear if anyone in the SUV was hurt, and authorities have not yet indicated if drugs or alcohol may have been in a factor in causing the crash.
