T-bone crash on OK-28 NB near Chelsea kills 1, injures 1

ROGERS CO., OK – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in northeast Rogers County killed one person and injured another last Thursday, reports News 9.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., police and medics were called to a fatal crash on the northbound side of OK-28 at East 370 Road. This is just south of Chelsea and about an hour northeast of Tulsa.
Police say that a northbound vehicle crashed into the driver’s side of another vehicle when the driver of the latter car entered the highway from a private drive.
The driver of the second car succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Authorities identified her as 60-year-old Frances Altman.
The driver of the northbound vehicle did not require hospitalization.
No charges have been filed in connection to the collision.
A full investigation is underway.
