Teen, 15, killed in crash caused by stop sign runner near Perkins

NEAR PERKINS, OK – A 15-year-old teenager was killed in a crash caused by a stop sign runner that happened north of Perkins on Saturday, Koco said.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident unfolded on U.S. Highway 177, where a male driver, traveling on a country road, had approached an intersection and ran a stop sign. He crashed into a passenger car.
The stop sign runner’s vehicle caught on fire, claiming the driver’s life. OHP did not disclose his identity, only saying he was a man from Kansas.
The passenger car overturned. OHP said four people were inside this vehicle.
OHP said the impact of the crash caused a 15-year-old teenager from Stillwater to die from their injuries, while others died from their injuries.
