Teen hurt in 2-vehicle crash involving semi-truck in Okarche

OKARCHE, OK – Medics airlifted a young man to the hospital after his vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler on a county road in Okarche, reports OKC Fox 25.

The incident happened Sunday on NS 2740 in Kingfisher county.

Police say an 18-year-old high school student veered out of his southbound lane and collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.

The teen driver sustained critical injuries. Police say he may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The truck driver also went to the hospital with injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
