Teen killed in 2-car crash at Highland and Ranch in Ponca City

PONCA CITY, OK – An 18-year-old boy died Thursday morning after a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Ponca City, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Ranch Drive and Highland Avenue, which is north of US-177 and west of North Waverly Street.
The investigation indicates that the accident involved a 16-year-old driving a 2016 Chevy Silverado and an 18-year-old driving a 2013 Chevy Sonic. The circumstances of the crash are unclear at this time.
The driver of the Silverado was not injured in the crash.
The driver of the Sonic died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified him as Nate Collins.
