Teen killed in car vs. semi crash on I-35 SB in Norman

NORMAN, OK – An 18-year-old died on Saturday morning after his sports car collided with an 18-wheeler along the interstate in Norman, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. near the intersection of southbound I-35 and Tecumseh Road, which is just southwest of the Armed Services Reserve Center Norman.
The investigation thus far indicates that the teen’s 2009 Chevy Corvette crashed into a semi-truck on I-35. The driver of the Corvette, identified as Riley Johnson, died at the scene of the accident. It is unclear if the driver of the semi-truck sustained injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
