Teen motorcyclist dies after crash with SUV in south Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A teenager died Thursday afternoon after their motorcycle collided with an SUV in southwest Oklahoma City, according to KFOR.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said the fatal incident occurred near Southwest 107th Street and South Western Avenue, shortly after 12:20 p.m.
An early investigation indicates the teen was riding a motorcycle northbound on Western Avenue when a driver in an SUV pulled out from a private driveway on the road’s east side. Moments later, the motorcyclist struck the SUV.
Authorities believe the victim, a Wstmoore High School student, may have died instantly.
At this time, no information on the SUV driver has been disclosed. It is unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed.
