Three Killed in Oklahoma Auto Accident

Three people were killed in an Oklahoma car accident Monday.
According to officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred six miles west of Madill on U.S. Highway 70 shortly before 1:00 a.m. Monday. Police say 43 year-old Sherry Ann Bullard and 61 year-old Elizabeth Ann Seymour were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
According to the accident report, Chickasaw Lighthorse police were chasing a stolen 2007 Cadillac Escalade on the highway when the driver, 22 year-old Pedro A. Garciga, turned off the vehicle’s headlights and collided head-on with the vehicle driven by Bullard. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles. Seatbelts were in use by the driver and one passenger in the Suburban. It is unknown if Garciga was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Garciga was transported by AirEvac Helicopter to Oklahoma University Medical Center for treatment. He died during surgery at 6:41 a.m.
