Three-vehicle crash on I-35 SB near Ardmore kills 1, hurts 2

CARTER COUNTY, OK – A three-vehicle crash just south of Ardmore in Carter County killed a 32-year-old man from Sulphur on Thursday morning, reports KOCO News 5.

The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35 just south of Ardmore and northwest of the Southern Oklahoma Speedway.

Police are still investigating how the crash happened. They say it involved a 2018 Dodge Challenger and two additional vehicles.

Authorities declared a male passenger from the Challenger deceased at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet identified him publicly.

Medics transported two others to the hospital with non-critical injuries, and another two people were uninjured in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
