Train and car collide at Oktaha and W 103rd, killing 1

OKTAHA, OK – A 56-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Sunday morning in a collision involving a train on the far north side of Oktaha, reports KTUL News 8.
The accident occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. at the railroad crossing near the intersection of Oktaha Road and West 103rd Street South. This is east of US-69 and the Outlaw Motor Speedway.
Police say the victim drove his vehicle onto the tracks and into the path of a Union Pacific Engine 5436. The train and the vehicle collided, entrapping the driver for more than two hours.
Following extrication, authorities declared the driver of the vehicle deceased at the scene. They identified him as Bee Vang.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
