Truck Crashes, Lands on Railroad Tracks

Police arrested a teen for drinking and driving after he crashed a car through a guardrail and landed on a set of railroad tracks.

According to officials with the Oklahoma City Police Department, the crash occurred near Northwest 50th Street and Interstate 235 on the ramp. The teenage driver, with a full vehicle, crashed through the on-ramp guardrail and came to rest on the railroad tracks.

Police arrested the driver for drinking and driving and drinking while underage. There were no serious injuries, but a few people were treated on the scene, police say.

Officers had to block the railroad tracks while workers moved the truck and inspected the tracks.
