Truck driver hospitalized following fiery rollover collision near Paoli

NEAR PAOLI, OK – A truck driver had to go to the hospital following a fiery rollover collision north of Paoli on Wednesday, News9 said.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident unfolded before 10 a.m. when the driver of a rock hauler truck had “dozed off” and crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 35 North and bridge. The impact caused the truck to overturn and catch on fire.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the emergency room for treatment.

Troopers and crews closed the area temporarily for clean-up efforts and for investigation purposes.
