Truck driver runs stop sign, strikes and seriously injures motorcyclist

MCLOUD, OK – A man is in serious condition after being hit yesterday by a semi-truck driver running a stop sign, according to KOCO News.
The accident was reported by KOCO at 5:39 p.m. and occurred on Interstate 40 in Mcloud when the driver of a semi-truck ignored a stop sign and collided with a motorcycle.
According to an initial report, the truck driver was unaware of the motorcyclist until the accident happened.
The driver of the motorcycle, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
It is unknown at this time if the truck driver will face charges in the accident.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
