Truck strikes, kills cyclist near W 36th Pl and S Elwood Ave

TULSA, OK – A male bicyclist sustained fatal injuries Friday when a vehicle struck him on the south side of Tulsa, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident occurred in the morning near the intersection of West 36th Place and South Elwood Avenue, which is at the northwest corner of the West Bank Soccer Complex.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the accident except to say that it involved a commercial truck.
The cyclist died at the scene. Authorities identified him as Kyle Scruggs.
The truck driver did stop to render aid and speak with officials.
A full investigation is underway.
