Trucking accident blocks lanes on Interstate 40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have reported an accident involving a tractor-trailer along Interstate 40 during Wednesday morning’s rush-hour traffic.
The crash occurred on I-40 eastbound near the on-ramp to Interstate 35, according to News 9. the truck ended up blocking off all eastbound lanes for a significant amount of time.
The incident has since been removed from the roadway, but not before causing a traffic jam for commuters into downtown Oklahoma City.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, the situation is still developing and we will provide any pertinent information as it is released.
