Tulsa collision blocks freeway during rush-hour

TULSA, OK – A collision on Interstate 44 caused major traffic delays for Tulsa commuters throughout Tuesday morning’s rush-hour.
The collision occurred within the westbound lanes of I-44 near 33rd West Avenue, according to KJRH. Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the driver lost control of his vehicle on the wet roads and collided with the center median.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision. However, the crash caused significant delays for those commuting into Tulsa.
The wreckage has since been cleared and the roadway reopened.
