Two arrested following Oklahoma City Police chase

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police have taken two into custody following a chase southeast of downtown Oklahoma City early Tuesday morning.
The pursuit began at the intersection of South Shields Boulevard and Southeast 44th Street. According to News 9, the driver and passenger sped through the area before bailing out of the vehicle at Southeast Grand Boulevard and South Santa Fe Avenue, near Draper Memorial Park.
Information regarding what may have caused the pair to run from police has not yet been released. No injuries were reported as a result of the pursuit. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any further details as they are made available by Oklahoma City Police.
