Two in custody following OKC pursuit, crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two individuals are in Oklahoma City police custody following a high-speed pursuit early Thursday morning.
According to News 9, police responded to a reported suspicious vehicle driving with a flat tire at about 1:30 a.m. Once officers reached the car, they discovered it to be reported stolen. When they attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver took off, reaching speeds near 100 mph.
Shortly after the pursuit began, the vehicle rear-ended a stopped car near the intersection of Southeast 44th Street and South High Avenue.
The other driver involved was not injured in the crash. However, two occupants in the first vehicle were arrested, police continue to search for a third suspect.
