Two-vehicle crash on H.E. Bailey Tpk near Chickasha kills near 1, injures 2

GRADY CO., OK – A 61-year-old woman died, and two people went to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision along the turnpike south of Chickasha.
According to KSWO 7, the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on the H.E Bailey Turnpike, or I-44, in central Grady County.
Authorities identified the victim as Hildreth Overcash. They say she was driving one of the vehicles at the time of the collision and died after transport to a local hospital.
Medics transported the driver and passenger from the other vehicle to the hospital as well for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
