Two vehicles collided on US-59 near Heavener, killing 1

LE FLORE CO., OK – A 35-year-old man died Thursday in a major collision along the highway in east-central Le Flore County, reports 5 News Online.
Around 4 p.m., emergency crews responded to US-59 near the city of Heavener, which is around 140 miles southeast of Tulsa.
Police haven’t shared any details about the accident except to say that it involved two vehicles. There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
One of the drivers, identified as Johnathon Nicholson, sustained fatal injuries.
The second driver was not hurt in the accident.
