Two-year-old struck and killed on Oklahoma highway

MAJOR COUNTY, OK – A two-year-old child was struck and killed while walking across a highway in northwest Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to KOCO News 5, a two-year-old Fairview boy was struck by a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck at around 4:30 p.m. at U.S. 60 near County Road 245. The child was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released any details as to why the child was in the road, or whether the driver of the truck is facing any charges.
