At least two young people were killed and three others injured in Tulsa when the vehicle they were riding in was hit by a vehicle driven by an intoxicated woman, newson6.com reported on August 10.

The motor vehicle accident happened on 21st Street in east Tulsa at around 11:00 p.m. when the vehicle driven by Jesus Avina, 18, was struck by a speeding SUV operated by Christina Ruth Cantrell. Two of the passengers riding in the back seats, aged 16 and 12, died in the crash. Avina, his girlfriend, and their 8-month-old baby were taken to the hospital due to injuries they sustained in the crash. Authorities arrested and filed homicide charges against Cantrell, 38, who happened to be intoxicated when the fatal accident occurred.

The Oklahoma legal team at the Abel Law Firm understands that accidents such as these are tragic, and our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to the family and loved ones of the victims.
