ATOKA COUNTY, OK. – The driver of a pickup truck that rear-ended a vehicle carrying four high school students has been charged with murder.

According to sources, 42-year-old Bradley Shawn Pittman was arrested on Tuesday following his release from the hospital and was charged with four counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Hunter Ford, Fernando Flores, Jack Sarver, and Kaleb Foster.

As we previously reported, the multi-fatality crash occurred shortly before midnight at the intersection of Main Street and Radio Road on Memorial Day. Investigators discovered that Pittman’s blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit, and he was speeding at the time of the collision.

Three of the teens, Flores, Foster, and Ford, were pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth, Sarver, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Pittman has a history of previous citations and arrests, including nearly 20 traffic tickets, DUIs, reckless driving, assault, and battery of a law enforcement officer.

Our thoughts are with the families of the victims during this difficult time. We will continue to monitor this developing story and will post updates as they become available.
