TULSA, OK – The two men who died in a Sunday morning collision involving a Dodge Dakota and a Jeep Wrangler have since been identified, according to an update from Fox23.
The men were publicly identified as 32-year-old Kyle Silk and 28-year-old Kortlin Harmon.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 2 a.m. Preliminary details show that a driver of a Jeep Wrangler was going east on 21st Street when they collided with a Jeep going south on Memorial Drive.
The force of the collision caused the Jeep to hit a wooden utility pole, and the Dakota Dodge to crash into a traffic utility pole. The Dodge was wrapped around, and its occupants, Silk and Harmon, were ejected from the vehicle.
Silk, the Dodge passenger, died from his injuries at the scene, while EMS crews transported Harmon, the Dodge driver, to a hospital where he later died.
The Jeep driver was unharmed, while their passenger sustained minor injuries.
Tulsa police launched a full investigation.
