UPDATE: Person ID’d in fatal two-vehicle crash in Pryor

PRYOR, OK – Pryor Creek Police have released the identity of the person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash that took place on the outskirts of Pryor on Tuesday.
According to an update from Fox23, the individual was identified as 26-year-old Ana Stoops from Strang. New details show that a 17-year-old teenager, who was driving west on Highway 20, had crashed into Stoops’ car.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Stoops stopped at a stop sign at Highway 20 and Carbide Road before proceeding through the intersection.
The collision happened around 3 p.m. and warranted a quick response from medical helicopter personnel and an ambulance.
Medical helicopter personnel transported Stoops to a hospital in Tulsa, where she later died.
EMS crews transported the 17-year-old driver by ground to an emergency room for treatment of minor injuries.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
