Update: Police identify victim who crashed at NE 23rd St and Sooner Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police have identified the woman who died at the hospital following a crash at NE 23rd St and Sooner Rd Monday, News 9 reports.

Susanna Scheiler, 77, was a passenger in the back seat of an SUV that collided with another vehicle around 11:30 a.m. The SUV occupied by Scheiler continued north after the crash before it went into a pond.

The driver and another passenger were able to escape the SUV through the sunroof. A dive team extricated Scheiler from the back seat of the vehicle. They then performed CPR on her and transported all three people to an area hospital, where Scheiler later died.

Authorities have not released details concerning the condition of the other people involved in the crash.
