UPDATE Victim identified in Northeast Oklahoma City hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities in Northeast Oklahoma City have identified the woman killed in an accident near Martin Luther King Avenue last Friday morning.
As previously reported, the crash occurred near the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Avenue around 1:20 a.m. Jovohn Burton, 32, was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene without notifying authorities, according to KFOR.
Police believe the driver involved in the crash has been identified. However, no arrests have been made as of yet. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any updates.
