Van passenger hospitalized after collision involving pickup truck in Bryan Co.

BRYAN COUNTY, OK – A van passenger was sent to the hospital following a collision involving a pickup truck on U.S. 70 on Thursday, KTEN reports.
The incident unfolded when a driver of a pickup truck got a flat tire while driving. The driver lost control of their truck, went off their westbound lane, swerved into the eastbound lanes, and collided with a van.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the truck driver swerved to try to avoid a crash, but it proved inevitable. The impact of thecollision pinned a van passenger.
Fire crews extricated the passenger, and medical personnel transported them to Texoma Medical Center.
First responders did not specify the severity of injuries the passenger sustained. However, they confirmed that they are in stable condition.
