Vehicle fire reported south of Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire officials in Oklahoma City responded to a vehicle fire near an Interstate 35 access road during rush hour Friday evening.

The fire was reported at about 6:15 p.m. on Southeast 59th Street near the I-35 access road, according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

No information on if any injuries were sustained as a result of the fire has been released as of yet. However, this portion of Southeast 59th St. will likely be closed so the fire can be put out and vehicle removed from the roadway.
