Vehicle fire with injuries reported west of Oklahoma City

OKLHAOMA CITY, OK – Fire and EMS officials west of Oklahoma City responded to a reported crash in which the vehicle involved subsequently caught fire causing injuries.

The accident occurred along an Interstate 40 on-ramp near Douglas Center Park at 6:15 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

This situation is still ongoing. We will continue to monitor any developments regarding the number of vehicles involved and the severity of the injuries sustained.
