Vehicle strikes, fatally injures pedestrian on Lynn Rd in Pawhuska

PAWHUSKA, OK – A 47-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries last month when a vehicle struck her along a roadway in central Osage County, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 19th, along Lynn Road in north-central Pawhuska. This is about 56 miles northwest of Tulsa.
Police haven’t shared any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that a 17-year-old driver hit the woman just north of East 21st Street. It’s unclear if she was walking in a designated crosswalk when the wreck occurred.
The pedestrian, identified as Wendy Griggs of Hominy, died after transport to an area hospital.
