Vehicle strikes, hurts pedestrian at NW 29th and North Ann Arbor

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was hospitalized on Thursday evening after a vehicle struck her at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City, reports News on 6.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 29th Street and North Ann Arbor Avenue, which is just east of Jack Cornett Park.

Police say the pedestrian stepped into the roadway while arguing with a companion. A vehicle then hit her in the roadway.

Medics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
