Vehicle strikes, injures pedestrian near Santa Fe and Memorial

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person sustained injuries Thursday morning in an auto-pedestrian crash in north-central Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the area of Santa Fe Avenue and Memorial Road, which is north of I-344 and west of US-77.
Police haven’t yet indicated if the pedestrian was walking in a crosswalk or in the roadway when the vehicle hit them on the northbound side of Santa Fe.
Medics transported the unidentified victim to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
No charges have been issued at this time.
