Vehicle strikes, kills 1-year-old child on S Pine in Stillwater

STILLWATER, OK – A small child sustained fatal injuries Thursday afternoon in an auto-pedestrian crash in southwest Stillwater, reports KFOR News 4.
The accident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on South Pine Street near West 11th Avenue, which is just southeast of Brecin Electric.
Police haven’t shared any details about the incident except to say that a car struck a one-year-old child in front of a Stillwater home. There’s no word so far about the driver’s condition or the location of the child at the time of the accident.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where they died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Motorists likely faced delays along South Pine Street in the area of the crash while emergency teams worked at the scene.
